Yoga at Vidya Village is live, small-group, and guided by real teachers.

The goal is not to perform shapes perfectly. It is to move, breathe, listen, and feel supported while practicing from home. At the moment, Vidya focuses on two live yoga styles: Vinyasa and Rocket.

Which live online yoga class should you choose?

Choose Vinyasa if you want a flowing class that links breath and movement. It is usually the softer entry point into live yoga, especially if you are still learning the rhythm of poses and transitions.

Choose Rocket if you want something stronger, faster, and more energising. Rocket can be a first Vidya class if you already move regularly, but it is usually not the best first yoga class for a complete beginner.

Vinyasa yoga online: flow and breath

Vinyasa is built around transitions. One movement leads to the next, with the breath acting as a thread through the class.

It can feel dynamic, but it does not need to feel rushed. In a live class, the teacher can offer options and help the group stay grounded.

If you are curious but unsure, Vinyasa is often a softer way into live yoga.

Rocket yoga online: energy and challenge

Rocket is more energetic. It takes inspiration from dynamic yoga traditions and often includes stronger transitions, balance, and playful challenge.

That does not mean you need to do every pose. A good live teacher offers options. But the rhythm is more intense than a gentle class.

If you want a more energising yoga class, Rocket may be the right fit.

What live guidance adds

Online yoga can easily become a video you follow alone. Vidya works differently. You join a live class at a real time, with a teacher who is present. The pacing, options, and tone respond to the room. That is what makes it feel like a studio, not a library of content.

Where to begin

If you are completely new to yoga, start with Vinyasa or read the first-class guide.

If you already move regularly and want something more physical, Rocket can be possible. If you want a more precise and grounded practice, Mat Pilates may be a better first step.
